CRD SUMMARY:

This review found that motor control exercise seemed to be superior to several other treatments at reducing pain and disability in patients with chronic or recurrent lower back pain. The limited number of trials in most analyses and the small size of the trials suggest that these results may not be reliable and the authors’ conclusions may be too strong.
